Though I uploaded this song and photos the work was never finished as my hard drive crashed and failed to work again. The song "The Beaufort Borealis" was written after my expereinces visiting Aklavik, North West Territories in November 2005.

Working to Keep Up
When "Blogger" first started, I rushed to sign up and wanted to get my thoughts online. After a week I decided, what could I ever say, without any shocking or highly incriminating things to report? So I left it alone, writing nothing.
Now it is trendy and in some cases necessary to get yourself known or an efficient way to transmit information globally, for business, writers, and education. These opportunities, to publish and to read is still a luxury of a minority compared to the global population at large that does not have the ability to access and use the Internet the way we do in our Western world.
It is, it seems a lot of work to keep up to date on all these communications options available to you on the Internet, social to business. How much time is enough to make statements and promote "stuff," or your-self or someone else and their "stuff?" Ranting is not my thing and trying to do it as a daily event incorporated into my schedule is not going to happen any time soon. Whatever it is, from music, to art, to people, to family, to CNN and BBC, we all like to make comments, whether they are worth a public scrutiny is questionable for much of it and is, I suppose, the purview of readers to decide.
